I found this interesting: The 2008 Open Source CMS Market Share Report, by Ric Shreves. Published by water&stone (www.waterandstone.com, PDF, 5MB).
Summary: WordPress, Joomla, & Drupal have the greatest market share & brand recognition of open source CMS offerings, which if you’ve been following the field would seem obvious. It’s nice to have at least one study that provides some tangible rationale.
Addendum: Multi-site Management with Drupal, Plone and Joomla! is an interesting look at future possibilities with respect to sharing the burden across churches/organizations (e.g. ChUUG).
Cool work. I must say I liked CMS market share | Cedar Lane Web Team.
I hope you don’t mind me saying this but it brought to mind lu which I read about on an alternative site.
You should aim to carefully analyze the companies that you
want to invest in prior to actually investing.
You should write down the prices of these company’s stock, the date, and the reasons why you are wanting to invest in them. Once you do this, carefully follow the stock. Eventually, you will discover if purchasing the stock would have been a good or bad decision. Over time, you will get better at selecting good businesses. This is when you should actually begin participating in the stock market.
